About Us

Who is The Plumbing Lady?

The Plumbing Lady business was started by Ronelle Pagel in 2007 to provide maintenance plumbing services to residents and businesses in Tshwane.

Ronelle started the business because, in 2007, plumbers arrived at her home to fix a leaking tap. Despite not fixing it, the kitchen sink was damaged, communication was poor and the plumbing company’s Call Centre insisted on payment before they left the property.

This incident convinced Ronelle that this type of service could be provided more professionally. Having the right “hands” for tools, and after doing her initial training and eventually progressing to become a qualified and licensed plumber, “The Plumbing Lady” has served many customers in Tshwane and continues to grow every year.

From one employee in 2007, the company now has 9 employees (excluding apprentices) and provides three home maintenance services (plumbing, electrical and gas new installations and maintenance), all of them where qualified and competent women execute on the solutions.
